To ensure the credit worthiness of all city ledger accounts while maintaining the resort’s overallcredit policy.
Supervising and monitoring credit inquiries of credit accounts of individuals, corporate and travel agents.
Ensuring that the credit policies and procedures are adhered to within the departments concerned.
Periodically reviewing and up-date the credit policy to meet the changing circumstances.
Maintaining close contact with other resorts and travel agents in order to obtain information to evaluate the credit-worthiness of all accounts prior to making recommendations for granting credit facilities.
Replying to all the customers’ inquiries relating to the payment terms and request for special billing.
Ensuring that all accounts have been settled upon checkout at the front desk. No account is to be transferred to the city ledger without the approval of the GeneralManager.
Maintaining filing of approved direct billing application in alphabetical sequence.
Recommending accounts to be written off at credit meetings.
Following up the long outstanding accounts and keep the Financial Controller informed in the progress.
Reviewing of daily high balance report on in-house guest and take appropriate follow up actions if necessary.
Maintaining a list of “No Credit List”.
Monitoring the credit limit of all accounts receivable.
Participating in the monthly credit meeting organized by the resort.
Preparing monthly aging report.
Carrying out physical counts of inventories, tools, equipments and fixed assets at the end of the month as required.
Performing other duties as assigned by the management.
At least Intermediate diploma in Accounting
At least 2 year experience in Accounting
Intermediate level of English communication
Strong organizational, detailed and analytical skills
Strong inter-personality skills
